What is PageSpace?
What is PageSpace?
PageSpace is a workspace for writing, tasks, and team communication — with AI built in as a collaborator, not a chatbot sidebar. Your documents, spreadsheets, chats, and code files all live in the same place, and AI agents can read and edit them the same way your teammates do.
How is it different from tools like Notion or Google Docs?
In most tools, AI is a panel that talks about your content. In PageSpace, AI agents are actual workspace participants — they can create pages, rewrite sections, file GitHub issues, schedule meetings, and ask each other for help. The content model is also unified: one search, one permission system, one tree of pages regardless of type.
Is it just for teams, or can I use it on my own?
Both. Individuals use it as a personal AI-powered notebook and task system. Teams use it for real-time collaboration. You can start solo and add people whenever.
Pricing and plans
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan includes 500 MB of storage and 5/month of AI credits that meter your usage. No credit card required.
What do the paid plans include?
More AI credits, access to Pro models, and more storage. Each plan includes a monthly AI-credit allowance — 15/month on Pro ($15/month), 50/month on Founder ($50/month), and 100/month on Business ($100/month) — and you can buy more credits anytime. All plans include real-time collaboration and AI agents. Full comparison on the Pricing page.
How do AI credits work?
Every plan includes a monthly allowance of AI credits — 5/month on Free, more on paid plans. Each AI action draws down credits based on what the underlying model actually costs, so a quick reply with a lightweight model costs far less than a long answer from a frontier model. Unused credits roll over and accumulate — they never expire.
What happens when I run out of AI credits?
Everything else keeps working — your documents, tasks, channels, and collaboration are unaffected. AI features pause until you buy more credits (top-up packs come in $10, $25, or $50) or your next monthly allowance is added at your billing renewal.
Getting started
How do I sign up?
With a passkey (Touch ID, Face ID, Windows Hello), a magic link emailed to you, or Google or Apple sign-in. There are no passwords to create or remember.
How do I get my team in?
Invite teammates by email from your drive settings — even before they have an account — or share a join link. They set up their account (passkey or magic link) and land directly in your workspace. Members see everything in the drive except pages you've marked private; mark a page private to keep it to yourself or a chosen few.
Is there a desktop app?
Yes — macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel), Windows, and Linux. There's also an iOS app via TestFlight, and PageSpace works in any web browser. Android is in progress. See the Downloads page.
Working with AI
What can the AI actually do?
It can draft and edit documents, build task lists from briefs, summarize threads, search your workspace, update spreadsheets, schedule meetings, file GitHub issues, and ask other agents for help. It makes changes — it doesn't just answer questions.
Can I create a specialized AI assistant for a specific project or role?
Yes. You can place an AI agent anywhere in your workspace and give it a role — a marketing agent in your campaigns folder, a code reviewer in your engineering drive. It picks up context from where it sits, so it already knows what project it's working on.
Which AI models are available?
PageSpace gives you one catalogue of models from many vendors — OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, and more. Free accounts use a curated set of efficient models; paid plans unlock the full catalogue. Each agent in your workspace can use a different model.
Will the AI touch content I haven't given it access to?
No. Agents act as the user who asked them — they can only see and edit what you can see and edit.
Is my content used to train AI models?
No. Your content goes to model providers through APIs under terms that prohibit training on customer data. We don't use it to train anything either.
Collaboration and sharing
Can multiple people edit the same document at the same time?
Yes — real-time editing with live cursors on documents, spreadsheets, and canvases. Messages in channels and AI chats appear instantly for everyone.
Can I keep a page private from the rest of the drive?
Yes. Drive members see the drive's pages by default, so collaboration is the starting point — but you can mark any page (or folder) private, and then only the owner, admins, and the people or roles you explicitly grant access can see it. Marking a page private takes effect immediately.
Can I share a page or drive with a link?
Yes. Generate a share link for a single page or a whole drive. Opening either link adds the person to the drive — a drive link with the role you choose, a page link as a member with that page's permissions — so they'll also see the drive's other non-private pages; mark anything sensitive private first. Links are revocable and can carry an expiry. You can also invite someone by email before they even have an account — the invite waits for them and becomes access when they sign up.
Can I publish a page to the public web?
Yes — Canvas pages can be published as standalone web pages at their own address on a separate public domain, away from your workspace. Hit Publish, share the link, and unpublish whenever you like.
How do team chat channels work?
Channels are message threads that live in your workspace just like any other page — searchable, shareable, permissioned the same way. You can @mention teammates or AI agents, attach files, and react with emoji.
Privacy and security
Is my data private?
Yes. Content is encrypted at rest and in transit. Stored credentials like integration tokens get an additional layer of encryption. More on the Security page.
Is my content used to train AI models?
No — worth repeating since it comes up often. Your content is never used for training, by PageSpace or by the model providers we connect to.
Can I export everything?
Yes. Documents export as Markdown or .docx, spreadsheets as CSV or XLSX, code files as source, and uploaded files as their originals.
What happens if I cancel?
Export anything you need before cancelling. For questions about data deletion, contact us.
Integrations
What does PageSpace connect to?
Google Calendar (two-way sync; agents can check your availability and schedule meetings), GitHub (agents can browse repos, open issues, and review PRs), and MCP (plug PageSpace into Claude, Cursor, or any other AI client that supports Model Context Protocol). See the full list.
Can I connect PageSpace to Claude, Cursor, or other AI tools?
Yes — via the PageSpace MCP server. Create a token in your settings, point your client at the PageSpace MCP endpoint, and it can read and write your workspace using the same tools the built-in agents use. The same token doubles as an OpenAI-compatible API key, so you can call any of your agents as a model from your own code. Setup guide.
